Lament

Not just the boiler. My laptop just died.  I am bereft. Its like a pet dying after 10 years of faithful service,. o I am diddly chance of a replacement as all my spare money went into the new bedroom carpet coming next week. And now the boiler is defunct too.

Comforting Tea and crumpets when the temperature in here gets below 20C is called for.
Update  Plumber called on his way home and investigated. Electronic fault. Quote to follow.
